Kelsey Neuenswander – Social Cognitive Scientist
I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Social Perception and Cognition Lab at the University of Toronto, working with Dr. Nick Rule. My research investigates the cognitive processes that underlie social categorizations and how these categorizations lead to biased outcomes.
I completed my PhD at UCLA under the mentorship of Dr. Kerri Johnson, where my research was funded by the French Embassy, the United States Department of Defense, and the Dean’s Diversity Fund.
Before graduate school, I worked as a lab manager for the Social and Behavioral Science Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, I graduated summa cum laude from UC Davis with degrees in Psychology and Communication.
