Kelsey NeuenswanderSocial Cognitive Scientist

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Social Perception and Cognition Lab at the University of Toronto, where I work with Dr. Nick Rule. My research is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) and investigates the social perception of auditory information.

I earned my PhD at UCLA under the mentorship of Dr. Kerri Johnson. My doctoral research was funded by the Embassy of France and the United States Department of Defense, and my dissertation received awards from the Federation of Associations in Behavioral and Brain Sciences (FABBS) and UCLA.

Before graduate school, I was a lab manager for the Social and Behavioral Science Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania. Before that, I graduated summa cum laude from UC Davis with degrees in Psychology and Communication.
