Kelsey Neuenswander – Social Cognitive Scientist
Hello! My name is Kelsey. I am a PhD candidate in the Social Vision Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellow for the United States Department of Defense. I am interested in the cognitive processes underlying social categorizations and the downstream consequences of these categorizations on outcomes such as prejudice.
Before joining UCLA, I worked as a lab manager for the Social and Behavioral Science Initiative (SBSI) at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Davis with dual Bachelor’s in psychology and communication.
