About

Hello! My name is Kelsey and I am a PhD student in the Social Vision Lab at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I am also a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellow for the United States Department of Defense.

Before joining UCLA, I worked as a lab manager for the Social and Behavioral Science Initiative (SBSI) at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Davis with Bachelor’s in psychology and communication. For more information about my academic and research background check out my CV below. Details about my current research interests can be found under the ‘research’ tab.

In my free time I like to play music (violin, piano, guitar), cook/bake, and travel. I’m obsessed with animals (service dog foster mom), podcasts (Reply All, Choiceology), and peanut butter (crunchy). Other qualities include: herbal tea enthusiast, pun aficionado, paint-by-numbers prodigy.
